HGL 010: Memory Leaks Addressed

Source: http://forums.hellgatelondon.com/showthread.php?p=340744#post340744

Cellwind, who appears to be a core engine programmer at Flagship, has made a thread addressing one of the biggest issues plaguing HGL players; the dreaded memory exhausted error.

Rather than the wishy-washy platitudes you might be expect, Cellwind gets down into the nitty gritty, detailing the exact cause of the problem from a memory fragmentation perspective, pointing out why the old system is flawed, why the new system still needs testing and hopefully how his new approach will resolve the problem and pave the way for more accurate and swifter targetting of any future problems.

The thread has quite a lot of participation from Cellwind, so check it out if you're a) affected by the bug, b) interested in memory management, c) just like to see Flagship talking to the folks.
